Junior Challenger Tennis Event set for May 22

The Laguna Beach Junior Challenger Series round robin tournament

will next be held May 22, at Alta Laguna Park.

Play begins at 2:30 p.m. and is open to players ages 10 through

14, at a cost of $25 per player.

Registration is taken through the Laguna Beach Community Services,

located at 515 Forest Ave., and deadline for entries is by 4 p.m.

Pop Warner Football looking for coaches

South Coast Pop Warner Football currently is accepting

applications for junior midget and midget division head coaches and

assistant coaches for the upcoming 2005 season.

Qualified applicants must have a child participating in the

league.

The next signup session is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May

28, at Wal-Mart, located at 951 Avenida Pico in San Clemente.
