Giants rout rival

The Giants avenged an earlier loss to the Dodgers in Ocean View

Little League action as they defeated their Minor A Division rivals,

7-3, at Murdy Park.

Grant Mayeaux and Dane Perkins each had two hits to pace the

Giants on offense. The duo also combined on the mound to strike out

six.

Aaron Miali, Jason Baxter and Kyle Jepson also had hits to

complete the Giants’ offensive output.

The Dodgers were led by Grant Peugh, who went two-for-two.

Christopher Smith, Matthew Mulholland, Zack Lopez, Connor Hurst and

Jordan Selder each had a hit.

In other Minor A Division action:

Giants 14, Yankees 5

Jake Bauers went four-for-four with a pair of doubles to highlight

a 10-hit attack by the Giants.

Dane Perkins, Aaron Miali and Jason Baxter each had two hits to

complete the Giants’ offense.

Perkins pitched the first three innings and recorded five

strikeouts. Bauers pitched the final three innings and allowed two

hits, striking out four.

The Yankees were led by William Morehand who went three-for-four,

and John Weber and Daren Preece, each with two hits. Preece, Joe

Stewart and Billy Fay combined for nine strikeouts.

A’s 7, Giants 4

The A’s shut down the Giants’ bats behind the pitching of Dakota

Muta and Keith Butler.

Gabriel Tamayo and Jonah Desjardin each had two hits to lead the

A’s nine-hit attack.

For the Giants, Dane Perkins had three hits, Jake Bauers and

Andrew Wall each had two hits, and Aaron Miali, Jason Baxter and Kyle

Jepson each had a hit.

Dodgers 9, Giants 4

The Giants got nine hits, but were only able to produce four runs

in falling to the Dodgers.

Grant Mayeaux went three-for-three, Robert Cornwell and Jake

Bauers each went two-for-three, and Aaron Miali and Darren Allen each

had a hit for the Giants.
