Grand opening to aid kids

Lola Rouge is teaming up with the Tinkerbell Guild of the Children’s
Hospital of Orange County for a night of shopping at 7 p.m. May 19 in
celebration of its Fashion Island store grand opening.
Lola Rouge will donate 15% of the event’s proceeds to the
hospital. You can buy raffle tickets now and during the event for a
chance to win exclusive items donated by fashion lines carried at the
store. A silent auction will take place too.
Rodnik Vodka and California Wraps and Grill will provide food and
drinks.
Lola Rouge’s Fashion Island store is painted in the signature
crimson red with mirrored furniture. Owners and sisters Sandy Johnson
and Debbie Askew pride themselves on offering the latest fashion
trends, specialty gift items and friendly customer service.
A partial list of available designer brands includes Nanette
Lepore, L.A.M.B., YaYa, Ginger & Java, Calypso, Foley and Corina,
Diane von Furstenberg, Tracy Reese, Milly and Rock & Republic. The
store provides wine and cheese parties, martini parties, holiday
wish-list parties and shopping after hours by appointment.

GET IN THE EYE OF TIGER
Apple Computer is offering a free one-on-one Tiger training class
for its new operating system, Mac OS X Tiger. Apple retail stores
open at 8 a.m. and offer the one-hour courses until noon.
Reservations can be made through June 24.
