GLENYS MAY LEWIS

Longtime Laguna Beach resident Glenys May Lewis died after a short

illness April 9. She was 78.

Lewis was born on Nov. 17, 1926 in the United Kingdom. She worked

as a human resources secretary for the Sears-Robuck company for 17

years prior to retirement.

Lewis and her husband, Derek, have lived in Laguna for 39 years.

Lewis is survived by her husband; daughters Melanie Flegal, of

Silverado, and Susan Abulog, of Laguna Beach; two grandchildren; and

one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be delivered to the family, care of McCormick and

Son Mortuary, 1795 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, 92651.

A service will be held at noon Monday at El Toro Memorial Park,

25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest.
