SAILING CLASSES

A Coastal Navigation Certification class is being offered by the

Orange Coast College School of Sailing and Seamanship. The

comprehensive six-week course provides instruction in the practice

and procedures for navigation and piloting. This is a noncredit class

that offers US SAILING certification. Classes will meet Tuesdays 7 to

10 p.m. April 19 through May 24 at OCC’s Sailing Center, 1801 W.

Coast Highway, Newport Beach. Registration is $190. Information:

A keelboat class is being offered by Orange Coast College’s School

of Sailing and Seamanship. The noncredit basic keelboat certification

class is designed for students with rudimentary sailing experience.

Classes will meet Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 17 through May 22

from at OCC’s Sailing Center, 1801 W. Coast Highway, Newport Beach.
