Blades roll over Thunder for Lemieux title
The Blades outscored the Thunder by four goals in the final period to
earn a 7-3 victory in the championship match of the Lemieux Division
postseason tournament at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in
Huntington Beach.
The Blades outscored the Thunder, 4-0, in the final period.
Ryan Morgan led the Blades with a match-high three goals.
Joshua Hackworth scored twice and Jared Hackworth and Paul Leigh
each scored once to complete the scoring for the Blades.
Joshua Hackworth and Devan Chargualaf each had a pair of assists,
and Leigh and Morgan each had an assist.
Corey Jones had 20 saves.
Sam Robinson’s two goals and one assist paced the Thunder, while
Jordan Wallace scored once and Brandon Rodriguez finished with 25
saves.

Smythe Division
Puckhogs, 7; TR 2, 6
The Puckhogs outscored TR 2, 3-2, in an overtime shootout, to
claim the title.
Tanner Chang, Ryder Epson and Brandon Albertson scored in the
overtime session for the Puckhogs.
Chang and Epson led the Puckhogs with two goals apiece, and Harley
Bolton and Lucas Young scored in regulation.
Jeffrey Ivora had 17 saves.
Matthew Bennett and Austin Gearty scored in overtime for TR 2.
Bennett had two goals, overall, Maggie Prizler, Christopher Boyd
and Parker Ransom each scored once and Tori Gianformaggio had 24
saves.
Rink Raiders, 3; Kings, 2
An unassisted goal by Adam Khouri in the final period lifted the
Rink Raiders to victory.
Shane Williams led the Rink Raiders offensively with a goal and an
assist, and Alec Dahl scored once.
Joshua Fowler recorded 15 saves.
Jacob Rosser and David Ramos scored goals for the Kings, and Tyler
Carnival had 17 saves.
