DISNEY’S ‘THE LION KING’
The musical spectacular makes its way to Orange County, bringing
unforgettable songs like Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love
Tonight?” and “Circle of Life,” along with Julie Taymor’s
award-winning direction. Shows will be performed in Segerstrom Hall
at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, 600 Town Center Drive,

‘HOLIDAY’
A comedy written by Phillip Barry in the 1930s that has been
called one of the outstanding successes of the New York theater. It
is the story of a young man, planning to wed a girl of great wealth
and social standing, who expresses his preference to live life as a
holiday, much to her father’s chagrin and her sister’s fascination.
The production will be directed by Jack Millis and performed at the
Newport Theatre Arts Center, 2501 Cliff Dr., Newport Beach. Tickets

‘TARTUFFE’
Moliere’s comedy about an odious impostor will be staged by Orange
Coast College’s Repertory Theatre Company. Written in 1664,
“Tartuffe” was originally banned from the public stage by Louis XIV
and remains a work of art to this day. Curtain is set for 6:30 p.m.,
with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday. The play will be staged
in OCC’s Fine Arts Outdoor Amphitheatre, 2701 Fairview Rd., Costa
