“Watch us Grow” for home-schooled students, a fun and interactive
two-hour program where students learn about seeds, how they travel

This educational program is designed to meet Kindergarten California
State Science Content Standards. Event will be held from 1 p.m. to 3

29th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival will be screened at Orange

The 11th Irvine Health Foundation lecture series on brain,
learning and memory will approach the topic of how brain science
could transform lives in the 21st century. Richard Morris of the
laboratory for cognitive neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh

A water-efficient gardening lecture will be presented by Resource
Efficiency Specialist for the Mesa Consolidated Water District Barry
Carlson. He will present a fun and informative talk on creating and
maintaining water efficient gardens for our Mesa Verde homes. Topics
will include design, plant choices, watering, and sprinkler systems.
He’ll share techniques for creating a great looking
water-conservative landscape suited to our local climate and soils.
