Young Executives of America is hosting a networking breakfast with
guest speaker Doug DeCinces. The former California Angels’
third-baseman and developer of Irvine’s Strawberry Farms Golf Club

Orange Coast College’s Small Business Expo will feature keynote
speaker W. Kenneth Yancey Jr. Yancey, head of National Operations for
SCORE, will speak about “The Power of Small Business.” MBA in a Day
will feature 12 workshops, networking and demonstrations, and 80
small business exhibitors. The expo is designed for small business
owners who want to position themselves for success, build their own
unique brand identity, refocus their marketing strategy, set new
marketing goals and sales objectives and find new ways to expand

THURSDAY
An intensive and informative three-day workshop offered by the UC
Irvine Graduate School of Management and R&R; Consulting will help
participants discover the hidden risk and value in structured
securities. This workshop on securitization and structured finance
will give participants the chance to build a cash flow model that
will be practical and important in the day to day conduct of
business. The event will be held at the UC Irvine Graduate School of

UC Irvine Extension’s Life Planning Program is sponsoring a
“Retirement Options Fair” to bring together ideas and resources for
interesting and meaningful retirement activities. The event is open
to both current retirees and “boomers” beginning to look at
retirement planning. The fair will take place on campus at UC Irvine
Extension Buildings A and C from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open
