The 21st annual High School Dance Day is today at Orange Coast
College. The event is hosted by OCC’s dance department and is
designed to encourage high school students to consider further study

The Big Canyon Reservoir Cover Project Dedication will begin at

Newport Beach Recreational Services will present a series of
drawing and painting workshops featuring individual instruction for
beginning and advanced students in mixed media. Artist and lecturer
Mimi Sharon will hold the classes on Wednesdays, through May 11, from
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Vince Jorgensen Center at Mariners
Library, 2005 Dover Dr., Newport Beach. The series costs $66.

Father,” and his fascination with this important figure in American

The Colonel William Cabell chapter of National Society Daughters
of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will present awards for excellence
