The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

The menu is subject to change. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt or Foster

Farms corn dog, potato wedges, frosty peach cup, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: No school.

THURSDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or two soft tacos (ground

turkey), lettuce, salsa and cheese, California raisins, animal

snackers, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or grilled cheese sandwich, baby

carrots with ranch, diced pears, choice of milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or barbecue-beef-rib sandwich on a

bun, jicama sticks with ranch dip, fresh fruit, Frito Lay Munchies

kid mix, choice of milk.
