TEMPLE BAT YAHM SPRING CARNIVAL

JAZZ SINGER BARBARA MORRISON IN CONCERT

Barbara Morrison has performed with such legends as Dizzy

Gillespie, Etta James, Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme and Tony Bennett.

Whatever the genre, whether jazz, blues or soul, her music is

emotional, exuberant and more than a little bit sassy. Held from

12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Center for Spiritual Discovery, 2850

CAPPELLA CANTORUM

Cappella Cantorum, the young adult choir of St. John Vianney

Chapel, is beginning its fifth year. The choir is open to students in

grades six through 12. It provides active faith participation for

teens during their high school years. Participation includes singing

at mass regularly and at special events. Rehearsals are from 11 a.m.

to 1 p.m. Saturdays in the Chapel at 314 Marine Ave., Balboa Island.

BAHAI FIRESIDES

Members of the Bahai faith hold informal public discussions on

spiritual topics at 11:30 a.m. the last Sunday of the month. The

talks include brunch or dinner. Also, interfaith devotional meetings

ZEN 101

The Zen Center of Orange County offers an introduction to Zen

A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

A 26-lesson study on the life of Jesus Christ titled “Journey to

the Cross” is taught at 9:45 a.m. Sundays during the Homebuilder’s
