Tailor to the presidents visits Brooks Brothers
Brooks Brothers at South Coast Plaza is set to host world-renowned
tailor Martin Greenfield at its “Made-to-Order Event” today and
Sunday.
Greenfield is one of the few tailors who has served four U.S.
presidents from Eisenhower to Clinton. His clientele also includes
politicians such as Colin Powell, Charles Schumer and stars like Paul
Newman and Conan O’Brien.
Greenfield will offer individual fittings to customers visiting
Brooks Brothers on the days of the event. Fabric specialists will
also participate by offering unique fabrics to the customers.
CoastKeeper presents sea lion documentary
The Orange County CoastKeeper, a nonprofit environmental
organization, will present the documentary “California Sea Lions: An
Unforgettable Encounter” at 7 p.m. April 8 at the Newport Dunes
Marina.
The award-winning documentary takes its viewers on a journey,
exploring the fascinating world of sea lions. Through educating its
viewers about the lives of sea lions, the film promotes the
importance of preserving oceans and coastlines.
Founded in 1999, the Orange County CoastKeeper is the only
nonprofit organization that aims to protect the coastline and the
watersheds of Orange County. Throughout the years, the organization
has presented other programs, such as its regional giant kelp
restoration project and its water-monitoring program to achieve its
goals.
Proceeds of the film premier will benefit the organization as well
as Rio Films, the company that produced the documentary.
