protection of marine animals on various days in March. The program
relies on volunteers to protect sea stars, hermit crabs, sea urchins
and other marine life. The Refuge Project is dedicated to the
protection, preservation and education of marine life found in Orange
County tide-pool areas. Volunteers are being recruited in Laguna
Beach at Crystal Cove State Park. They will receive training. Anyone
Interested in volunteering can contact Marine Life Refuge Program
Coordinator Catie Graver at (949) 496-2274, Ext. 317.
