SATURDAY
PEACE VIGIL
The Laguna Beach Peace Vigil will meet every Saturday from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. at Main Beach. The group seeks nonviolent answers to global

SUNDAY
ADULT BASKETBALL
The public is invited to play ball at Laguna Beach High School.
Full-court pick-up games are played in the school’s gym from 9 a.m.
to noon Sundays. Many former high school and college players
participate. The games are sponsored by the city’s recreation
department. Cost is $2 at the door.
TSUNAMI RELIEF BENEFIT
A Tsunami Relief Benefit will be held from 5 to 11 p.m. at Mosun, 680 S. Coast Highway. The event will feature live music, a silent
auction and opportunity drawings. All proceeds will be donated to the
American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Chapter and Save the Children

“FIND THE STILLNESS”
Sunday services will include a program of music, poetry and

ADULT LEARNING PROGRAM
The Laguna Beach Unified School District Adult Program for
learning English as a second language will be held from 5:30 to 8:30

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will welcome anyone dealing with grief

BIBLE STUDY
Word Study Laguna Beach, a community nondenominational,
nonexclusive Bible study, will hold meetings at noon at the Calvary
Evangelical Free Church. Word Study Laguna Beach is an independent

The Laguna Beach chapter of the League of Women Voters and the

TAX ASSISTANCE
The Laguna Beach Senior Center will offer free tax preparation and
assistance from 9 a.m. to noon every Wednesday and Thursday from
through April 14 at the Laguna Beach Senior Center, 384 Legion St.
Volunteer counselors are trained by the Internal Revenue Service will
staff a tax counseling desk to provide free assistance. Assistance is

Docents are needed for the Hortense Miller Garden in Laguna Beach.
People come from all over the world to see this Laguna landmark. The
commitment is usually for one or two garden tours a month. An

OPEN GATHERINGS
Open Gatherings is a local movement that draws people together
from all faiths and nonfaiths to explore topics of spirituality,
relationships and personal ethics. Open Gatherings will be led by the

7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 429 Cypress Drive.

KIDS’ COMPUTER CLASSES

Cosmic Thinkers combines technology and the arts in creative computer
