The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt or two

pepperoni pizzatas, baby carrots with ranch dip, California raisins,

choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Munchable lunch salad or ABC and 123 chicken nuggets,

crisp green salad with ranch, diced mixed fruit, reduced-fat Doritos,

ABC cookies, choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or barbecued beef rib

sandwich on a bun, paulie peas, diced peaches, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or manager’s special, veggie sticks

with ranch dip, fresh fruit, choice of milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or Oscar Mayer all-beef hot dog on a

bun, potato smiles, diced peaches, graham crackers, choice of milk.
