A memorial service for former Corona del Mar resident Ellen M.

Buck will be March 3 at Pacific View Chapel.

Born in Whittier, Mrs. Buck spent the majority of her life in

Corona del Mar, where she was an office manager. She died Feb. 23 of

natural causes. She was 85.

Mrs. Buck is survived by her daughter, Cathy Lee Fransen; one

grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Frances Strickler

A memorial service for former Orange County resident Frances

Strickler will be March 3 at Regent’s Point in Irvine.

Born in Smithville, Texas, Mrs. Strickler lived in Orange County

for 28 years, where she was a homemaker. She died Feb. 22 of cancer.

She was 88.

Mrs. Strickler is survived by her sister, Joan Johnson; her

brother, Charles Lee; her daughters, Linda O’Connor, Susan Salay and

Kathleen Mahoney; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
