The Chiefs overcame an early 1-0 deficit by scoring the final six
goals in their Campbell Division match against the Rink Raiders,
recording a 6-1 victory at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in
Huntington Beach.
The six goals were scored by Evan Hess and Katie Hart, with Hart
getting four goals. Steven Landis, Haley Sanders and Colby Raban each
had two assists.
Sam Prizler gave up just one goal, recording 18 saves for the Chiefs.
Adam Khouri scored off an assist by Alec Dahl in the first period
for the Rink Rats.
Joshua Fowler had 13 saves.
In other Campbell Division action:
Ducks 3, Dyno-Mites 2
Andrew Huffman scored his third goal of the match with 59 seconds
remaining to lift the Ducks to the win.
Huffman’s goal came off an assist by Jonah Mack. Huffman scored
his second goal of the match earlier in the period, which gave the
Ducks a 2-1 lead.
William Huffman had an assist, and Cody Sizemore had 12 saves for
the Ducks.
Trevor Dilauro scored both Dyno-Mites goals and Joseph Thielen had
11 saves.
Kings 4, Dry Ice 4
Dry Ice scored two goals in the final period to earn a tie with
the Kings.
Drew Truxaw, Benjamin Jaeger, James Martin and Connor Cudeback had
goals for Dry Ice.
Ethan Higbee finished with 13 saves in the victory.
For the Kings, Jacob Rosser scored twice and Drew Burack and
Tanner Osterkamp each scored once.
Tyler Carnival had 14 saves.
Rink Raiders 4, Puck Heads 4
The Rink Raiders came back from a goal down by scoring twice in
the final period to end the match in a tie. Jason Austin scored both
third period goals to highlight the comeback.
Riley Dix had a goal and assist, Landon Milhone scored, Alec Dahl
had an assist for the Rink Raiders, and Joshua Fowler had 12 saves.
Dylan Rodriguez and Sean Cullinane each scored twice and Cullinane
had an assist, and Alex McCabe finished with 15 saves to lead the
Puck Heads.
