Honorees will receive a complimentary dinner for two at Duke’s and

The Huntington Beach Education Foundation will hold its annual

fundraiser, the Gala Dinner Dance and Silent Auction, at 7 p.m. Feb.

26 at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, 21000 Pacific Coast

Highway.

The event will serve to raise money for programs that benefit

local youth and provide for staff development and parent education.

Last year, the foundation funded more than $64,000 in teacher and

technology grants for Huntington Beach schools.

The foundation was founded in 1987 and is comprised of locals who

are passionate about education in the community. This gala is the

foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. Tickets to the gala cost

$100 per person. Information: (714) 378-1512.
