* Beach Street and Forest Avenue: Police received a report that a
purse was stolen at 12:37 p.m.
* Forest Avenue: A transient was reportedly bothering passersby at
12:17 p.m. in the 200 block.
* Hillcrest Drive: Police received a report that children were
swearing and throwing objects into trash cans at 9:51 p.m. in the 600
block.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that $50 in cash
was stolen from a petty cash box in a Doctor’s office at 2:15 p.m. in
the 31800 block.
SUNDAY
* Bluebird Canyon Drive: Police received a report that tools and
two gun shells were stolen from a truck at 3:57 p.m. in the 900
block.
* Cliff Drive: It was reported that a suspicious-looking blue
duffle bag was sitting by the men’s bathroom at 2:39 p.m. in the 300
block.
* Laguna Canyon Road: Police received a report that a green
Mercedes almost hit a parked vehicle at 10:05 p.m. in the 2200 block.
* Main Beach: Police received a report that a sea lion on the
beach appeared to be sick or hurt at 4:19 p.m. in the 100 block.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that men in front
of Jack in the Box were drunk and trying to fight at 2:30 a.m. in the
1300 block.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that a woman
wearing a black shirt was inside a red sedan messing with the wires
and possibly trying to steal the car at 3:33 a.m. in the 30800 block.
* South Coast Highway: It was reported that a father was hitting
his child with a stick at 2:46 p.m. in the 30900 block.
SATURDAY
* Broadway: Police received a report that two men were throwing
beer bottles into the roadway at 7:08 p.m. in the 200 block.
* Broadway: It was reported that someone heard their door handle
jiggle at 9:02 p.m. in the 300 block.
* Broadway: Police received a report that two men threw something
at a bus at 2:13 p.m. in the 500 block.
