A 3-wheeled thanks to the newspaper

A huge thank you is in order here: THANK YOU! Thanks to the

Pilot’s entire staff for publicizing my three-wheel bike theft,

originally reported Jan. 10, then again on Friday, then again on

Sunday, after I received a new bike.

All so beautifully done! Marisa O’Neil is a fantastic reporter and

writer. I am very happy to say that I am riding every day in complete

comfort with a newfound energy.

Please extend my gratitude to everyone to the staff and everyone

concerned. As a third-generation “Newport kid,” I have renewed faith

and devotion to my community. All I was hoping for was someone to see

my bike and report it or return it. I am overwhelmed by the

outpouring of support -- all because of how you presented my story.
