Hornets shut down the Blue Diamonds
Luke Barrett and Dylan McCarthy each scored two goals and the Hornets
defense posted a shutout in a 6-0 Norris Division victory over the
Blue Diamonds at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington
Beach.
Barrett and McCarthy scored their goals over the first two
periods, which helped the Hornets bolt to a 5-0 lead.
Wyatt Colvard opened up and closed the scoring for the Hornets.
Connor Hisgen had two assists and McCarthy picked up one.
The shutout went to Tori Gianformaggio, who recorded 17 saves.
Sam Prizler had 27 saves for the Blue Diamonds.

Hot Shots 6, Skulls 5
Trent Coats’ goal in an overtime shootout session lifted the Hot
Shots past the Skulls.
It was the second goal of the match for Coats, who also scored in
the second period.
He also had an assist.
Kevin Romano finished with 24 saves.
Christopher Pichedwatana also scored twice for the Hot Shots.
Kaylyn DeJongh, Brad Owen, Paige Gast, Kellen O’Connell and Niley
Smith all scored for the Skulls.
Emmett Jaeger had 30 saves.
Rattlers 3, Bruins 1
Goals by Dane Chavez and Jennifer Leung broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Rattlers to victory.
Manny Banuelos scored for the Bruins and Troy Baljeu had 28 saves.
