Kings rule in Howe Division

The Kings won the Howe Division championship by skating past the
Blades, 9-3, in title match at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in
Huntington Beach.
Michael Gutierrez and Cameron Berkenkamp each scored three goals
to lead the way, with Jordan Bennett scoring twice and Nick Hansen
scoring once.
Bennett also had an assist.
Casey Childers got the win on 18 saves.
Aaron Lerman, Patrick Moan and Daniel Kramer all scored for the
Blades, David Schenker had an assist and David Stone finished with 20
saves.
In other division finals:
Lemieux Division
Thunder 9, Doesn’t Matter 4
The Thunder outscored Doesn’t Matter by three goals in the final
period to pull away.
Sam Robinson posted four goals and a pair of assists to pace the
victors.
Jeffrey Kurokawa scored twice and had one assist, Mitchel Gonzales
had a goal and assist, Raffi Tchekmedyian scored once and Brandon
Rodriguez had 29 saves.
Adam Daley scored twice and had an assist, Tyler Bales scored
twice, Ryan Daley had an assist and Shaun Ellis recorded 32 saves for
Doesn’t Matter.
Campbell Division
Blue Diamonds 6, Red Rhinos 2
David Wellander scored the final four goals for the Blue Diamonds,
who pulled away from the Red Rhinos down the stretch.
Anthony Tullio also had a goal and assist and Spencer Reeves
scored for the Blue Diamonds.
Sam Prizler had 19 saves.
For the Red Rhinos, Chad Sasaki and Jonathan Cooper scored, Riley
Draghi and Trent Morsk each had an assist and Joseph Thielen had 18
saves.
Wales Division
Ice Dogs 3, Renegades 1
All the match scoring came in the third period, as the Ice Dogs
got past the Renegades.
Zac Zomaya scored twice with an assist, Dmitri Sedykin had a goal
and assist and Tyler Allen scored once for the Ice Dogs.
Nicholas Jezulin came up with 36 saves.
Omar Tepayotl scored unassisted and Jacob Renaud had 31 saves for
the Renegades.
