Prep trio named to All-State football team

Three members of the 2004 Edison High football team have been named
to the CalHiSports.com All-State Underclass Football Team.
Romney Fuga, Brian Shrock and Hunter White each was named to the
squads.
Fuga and Shrock made the Juniors team, and White made the
Sophomores team.
The junior players were set up on a first and second team, each
composed of 30 players statewide.
The sophomore team is composed of 30 players.
Fuga, a 6-foot-2, 260 junior lineman last fall, was named to the
junior first team.
Shrock, a 5-11, 190 quarterback, was named junior second team
multipurpose.
White, a 5-11, 180 wide receiver/defensive back, was named to the
sophomore first team.
Members on the CalHiSports.com All-State Underclass Football Team
were taken from all-league and All-CIF and All-City honors lists,
game performances and through nominations from a coach or
sportswriter.
Fuga also was a first team All-Sunset League selection and White
was an Honorable Mention pick.
Shrock shared the league’s Offensive Player of the Year honor with
Los Alamitos senior Cortez Rice.
