Ocean View holds final registration

Ocean View Little League will hold registration for its spring

2005 season today.

The registration will run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the league’s

snack bar, located behind Murdy Park.

Girls softball signups set

Huntington Beach Girls Softball will hold its final signup session

for its 2005 season from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Signups will take place at Circle View School, 6261 Hooker Drive

in Huntington Beach.

The league offers competition for divisions 6-and-under through

16-and-under. Eligible players must have turned six years of age by

Jan. 1.

Costs for all divisions, with the exception of 16-and-under, is $125. The cost per player in the 16-and-under division is $140.

Fees cover a uniform, pictures, insurance and a trophy.

Player evaluations are schedule for Jan. 22, and opening day is

set for Feb. 26.

Seaview holds final signup

The final signup for Seaview Little League’s 2005 season will be

held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

The signup will take place at the league’s field clubhouse, at

LeBard Park, 20451 Craimer Lane in Huntington Beach.

Players are required to bring a copy of their birth certificate

and two copies of proof of residency.

To be eligible to play in the league, league boundaries are as

follows: east of Beach Boulevard, south of Adams Avenue, west of the

Santa Ana Riverbed and north of Pacific Coast Highway.
