Snowflakes will light up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main

Street through New Year’s Day. About 84 artificial snowflakes and

twinkling lights will adorn Downtown Huntington Beach. They stretch

The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort’s Christmas Eve Dinner

Celebration will be held at the Resort, 21100 Pacific Coast Highway.

The Palm Court Restaurant will present creations from its

A Roller Blading Fun Roll will start at 10:30 a.m. from the

Huntington Beach Pier. Join the group of roller bladers for a 16-mile

round trip at a pace for all levels and ages, from Huntington Beach

to Newport Beach. Bicycles are welcome and the roll is free.

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa will host a New

Year’s Eve celebration for adults and children from 8:30 p.m. to 1

a.m. at the resort, 21500 Pacific Coast Highway. Adults will enjoy a

dinner dance in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom with live entertainment

and party favors. The children’s party will feature dinner, games and

The Huntington Beach Council on Aging will host its annual New

Year’s Eve Ballroom Dance from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Rodgers

The fifth annual Huntington Beach Pier Polar Plunge, sponsored by

the Huntington Beach Sunrise Rotary Club, will be held at 9:30 a.m.

on the north side of the Huntington Beach Pier, Pacific Coast Highway

at Main Street. Participants are encouraged to donate $10 for a

certificate of participation or $20 for a commemorative beach towel.

All proceeds will go to local charities, organizations and volunteer

The Huntington Beach Longboard Crew will host the 20th annual New

Year’s Day Paddle Race at 8 a.m. around the Huntington Beach Pier.

The race is a casual event put on by the surf club each year. Medals

The annual Huntington Beach Pier Procession of Lights event will

be presented by the Huntington Beach Interfaith Council from 2 to 5

p.m. at the Huntington Beach Pier, Main Street at Pacific Coast

Highway. All faiths and religions are invited to come together and

celebrate life with a candlelight walk down the Pier. Participants

can join in this celebration with songs, hymns and prayers.
