Blue Blue is a neutered, male husky...
Blue
Blue is a neutered, male husky mix recognized by his beautiful
eyes. He was originally adopted from the shelter, and he is
well-loved. He has been a great companion.
However, after moving into a new condo, Blue’s guardian is being
pressed by the association’s board members to give up her dog by
enforcing restrictions on the height of animals living within the
complex.
Great animals like Blue are often overlooked as the Christmas
gift-giving tradition has the public seeking puppies and kittens.
We need to remind everyone that older animals are more calm and
have better house manners, making them less likely to damage personal
belongings and home furnishings.
Parents seeking kittens and puppies must realize that the daily
walking, maintenance and training of the new pet will fall on their
shoulders.
The rescue rule is to adopt adult animals in need of a home.
The best dogs to adopt are older than 5. Most of these animals are
trained and less rambunctious.
Just like Blue, life’s many uncertainties usually forced their
guardian to give up an animal they love.
This Christmas, adopt an older, well-mannered dog. Visit

County Animal Care Center.
