* Summit Drive: Police received a report that noises and footsteps

were heard on the third level of a house at 4:33 a.m. in the 900

block.

MONDAY

* Cliff Drive: A man told police that he found a man in his house

at 7:37 p.m. in the 100 block.

* South Coast Highway: A beige Ford Expedition was reported stolen

at 6:53 p.m. in the 31700 block.

* Virginia Park Drive: Police received a report that several

people in a white Porsche were smoking marijuana at 12:15 p.m. in the

600 block.

SUNDAY

* Cypress Drive and Aster Street: A loud party in a backyard was

reported to police at 1:19 a.m.

* Del Mar Avenue and Noria Street: Police received a report that a

tree was illegally cut down at 2:31 p.m.

SATURDAY

* Bluebird Canyon Drive: A silver Lexus with New York state

license plates, with a broken back window and a missing steering

column was reported to police at 10:13 a.m. in the 200 block.

* Bolsana Drive: A motorcycle with a loud muffler was reportedly

traveling up and down Coast Highway at 3:39 p.m. in the 600 block.

* Catalina: Police received a report that there was a prowler at

6:38 p.m. in the 500 block.

* North Crescent Bay Beach Drive: A man reported that a woman

driver backed into his vehicle, then sped away at 1:44 p.m. in the 1300 block.

* South Coast Highway: A transient was reportedly harassing an

employee at 12:33 a.m. in the 1800 block.

FRIDAY

* Canyon Acres Drive and Lewellyn Drive: Police received a report

that a big German Shepherd dog was running around and chasing cars at

8:59 a.m.

* Catalina and Park Avenue: Police received a report that a man in

a stocking cap was looking into windows and lurking around an

apartment building at 10:10 p.m.

* Forest Avenue: It was reported to police that a hair salon

customer left without paying at 4:53 p.m. in the 300 block.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A car fire was reported at 12:11 p.m. in the

3300 block.

* South Coast Highway: A man told police that several items were

stolen from his car at 5:14 p.m. in the 31100 block.

THURSDAY

* South Coast Highway: It was reported that children set off a

smoke bomb at 5:35 p.m. in the 1500 block.

* Cliff Drive: Police received a report that a car was hit by

paintballs at 10:15 a.m. in the 100 block.
