Local soccer academy to run winter camps
The All England Soccer Academy will run its 2004 winter soccer
camps Dec. 20-22 at the Alicia Parkway Soccer Field in Laguna Niguel.
The camp is open to advanced players ages eight to 15 and will run
between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. each of the three days.
Players attending the camp will be placed in groups based on age
and ability. Technical and tactical elements of soccer will be
developed during the week and a World Cup soccer tournament will be
held on the final day of the camp.
The presentation of various awards will follow the tournament.
For the first two hours of each day, the camp’s goalkeeper coach
will work specifically with players who wish to develop their
goalkeeping skills. The keepers will then join the appropriate group
for the remaining two hours of camp.
For the first time, each player attending the camp will receive a
free Vizari soccer shirt.
For information on obtaining a camp application, call (949)
