Surf Theatre will premiere the screening of the original surfing
film, “FASHION!!?!!,” at 7 and 9 p.m. at the Mann Pierside 6 Cinemas,
300 Pacific Coast Highway, No. 203. The film features the best waves
from Indonesia, France and Australia, along with funny animation and
high energy surfing. The cost is $9 per person for each showing.

Snowflakes will light up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street
through New Year’s Day. About 84 artificial snowflakes and twinkling
lights will adorn Downtown Huntington Beach. They stretch all the way

Live Acoustic Music by Corday will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m.
at Pete Mallory’s Surf City Sunset Grille, 21500 Pacific Coast
Highway. Acoustic sounds of the newest, upcoming bands in Orange
County are featured at Pete Mallory’s on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Art of White exhibit from Artist Todd White, will be open to
the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Dec. 31. at the Gallery
Huntington Beach at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and

SATURDAY
Artist Joshua Serafin will hold an art exhibit from 4 to 8 p.m. in
his local studio, 19400 Beach Blvd., No. 10. In a rare open house,
viewers can see Serafin’s newest originals and his growing collection

Pianist and composer Vern Nelson, will give a concert at 7:30 p.m.
at the Huntington Beach Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave. The
program will feature music by famous composers, Christmas music and

Christmas Angles Charity Dance will be held from 8 p.m. to
midnight in the Parish Hall at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 16400
Springdale Street. The event will feature a DJ, raffle and a visit
from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will be
donated to the Orangewood Children’s Home. Those who bring an
unwrapped children’s toy will receive a ticket for a free drink.

The Huntington Harbour Boat Parade and a boat decorating contest
in conjunction with the Cruise of Lights, will be held from 5 to 8
p.m. at Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway. The event is open to
registrants who light their vessels and compete for awards. The
festive boats join in a parade that begins near Warner Avenue and
heads south, making its way through the channels of Huntington
Harbour. The Huntington Beach islands are closed to car traffic
during this event and parking is extremely limited. Information:

The state-designated “Day of the Horse” in Surf City will take
place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Huntington Central Park
Equestrian Center, 18381 Goldenwest St. The free event is meant to
increase public awareness of horses and the role they played in
California’s history, heritage and economics. Equestrian Trails
Incorporated will recognize this special day at the Huntington
Central Park Equestrian Center through equine group performances,
exhibits of different breeds, color guard and farrier demonstrations,
local equine artists, a children’s art display and crafts.

A Skate Holiday Spectacular will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at
Skate Zone, 16091 Gothard St. This annual holiday-themed show on ice
will be presented with holiday music under the Christmas lights,
featuring performances by skate school students of all ages. The cost

The Nutcracker Ballet will be performed by the Ballet Repertory
Theatre at 2 p.m. at the Golden West College Mainstage Theater, 15744
Goldenwest St. This traditional Christmas ballet will be presented in

SUNDAY
Santa Claus will be in Downtown Huntington Beach from 1 to 3 p.m.
He will travel along Main Street from 6th Street to the end of the
Huntington Beach Pier. Along the way, Santa will stop and speak with
