Blue Diamonds sparkle in 7-2 win

The Blue Diamonds used a 4-0 scoring advantage in the second quarter

to pull away to a 7-2 Campbell Division victory over Dry Ice at Coast

2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

David Wellander led all scorers with four goals.

Teammates Spencer Reeves scored twice and Levi Hosler scored once.

Sam Prizler recorded 16 saves.

In other Campbell Division matches:

Hot Shots 4, Dyno-Mites 3

Andrew Staffieri’s late goal -- his third score of the match --

lifted the Hot Shots past the Dyno-Mites.

Staffieri scored in the first period and twice in the final

period, two of his goals coming off an assist from Sean Cullinane.

Drew Truxaw also scored and Brandon Sizemore had 32 saves.

Trevor Dulauro scored once with an assist, Evan Hess and Maxwell

Votaw each scored once and Matthew Bodge had an assist for the

Dyno-Mites.

Chad Buettner had 10 saves.

Red Rhinos 5, Bullfrogs 4

Cad Sasaki’s last second goal broke a tie and gave the Red Rhinos

the victory.

Trent Morsk scored twice, Evelyn Weaver and Preston Yamasaki each

scored once and Jonathan Cooper and Riley Draghi each had an assist.

Joseph Thielen recorded 17 saves.

Daniel Patzlaff scored the first three Bullfrogs goals -- all

unassisted -- and Mark Clifford scored an unassisted goal.

Ethan Higbee had 21 saves.
