in the 700 block.

SATURDAY

* Broadway Street: Police received a report that a homeless person

was assaulted at 9:58 a.m. in the 200 block.

* Forest Avenue: A jewelry store reported a theft and loss of $900

at 3:02 p.m. in the 200 block.

* Ocean Avenue: A theft was reported at 4:13 p.m. in the 200

block.

* Sandpiper Drive: A woman reported to police that a secretary had

forged her name on checks and documents at 12:38 p.m. in the 700

block.

* Skyline Drive: A 900 watt electrical panel was reported taken

from a sideyard at 10:45 a.m. in the 1500 block.

FRIDAY

* Broadway Street: Drug items were reportedly found in the back of

a store at 3:07 p.m. in the 200 block.

* Broadway Street and Forest Avenue: A dark colored Chevrolet

Tahoe was reportedly driving recklessly at 8:50 p.m.

* Laguna Canyon Road: It was reported that a large white truck hit

a dog at 1:25 p.m. in the 20000 block.

* Randall Way: A white 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported

stolen at 1:06 p.m. in the 1400 block.

* South Coast Highway at Brooks Street: A man reported to police

that his Lexus SC430 was hit while parked on the street at 2:08 p.m.

* Mystic View: Police received a report that a man was walking

around the neighborhood and acting nervous and scared at 6:27 p.m. in

the 600 block.

* Pala Way: A party was reported at 11:20 p.m. in the 2600 block.

* South Coast Highway: A hotel guest reported a stolen house key

at 8:20 p.m. in the 1500 block.
