Hurricane relief storms in island-style
Clothing maker Tommy Bahama has launched a company-wide
fundraising effort to benefit those affected by recent hurricanes.
During the last two weeks of October, Tommy Bahama will host a
Hurricane Happy Hour party in each of 39 retail locations nationwide.
Ten percent of the sales generated throughout the day will go to the
American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to provide food, shelter,
counseling and other assistance to those in need.
The Hurricane Happy Hour parties will include tropical
refreshments, food, a steel-drum band and a selection of Tommy Bahama
sportswear, accessories and gifts.
One lucky Tommy Bahama staff member will get a chance to meet the
founders of Tommy Bahama, Tony Margolis, Bob Emfield and Lucio Balla
Gasperina. The location that raises the most money for the American
Red Cross Disaster Fund will get a visit from three founders, who
will become members of that store’s sale team for the day.
