What’s the most important issue facing the city?

Balancing the budget; owner-occupied housing.

What do you think of the city’s joint-use agreement with the

schools for use of playing fields?

It is very inequitable. It needs to be reviewed and rewritten.

What would be the most effective way to improve the Westside?

Provide reasonable incentives to build owner-occupied housing.

Are city leaders doing a good job handling the budget and

pressures on it from the state?

They have done a fair job of handling the budget. We need to take

a hard look at an across-the-board percent reduction in the next

budget. We cannot continue to balance the budget with fund balances,

and we cannot count on the state coming through on their promises to

not raid our coffers again.
