The Board of Directors of the Mesa Consolidated Water District
will hold a public hearing regarding the 2004 Public Health Goals
Report tonight.
The report is prepared every three years to provide further
information to the public in addition to the annual Water Quality
Report, which was mailed out to residents in June.
The report compares the district’s drinking-water quality with
public-health goals adopted by California’s Environmental Protection
Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment. It also
compares this information with the maximum contaminant-level goals
adopted by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. at 1965 Placentia Ave. in Costa Mesa.
