City seeking sculpture for prominent corner
The Laguna Beach Cultural Arts department will accept proposals
for a sculpture to be placed at the corner of Beach Street and Ocean
Avenue. Any California artist may submit a proposal.
The design should face the bench that faces Ocean Avenue. Details
on specifications and on how to send in a proposal can be obtained
from the Cultural Arts department. For more information, call

Group holds annual Bastille Day dinner
The Alliance Francaise de la Riviera Californienne, Inc., will
host its annual Bastille Day dinner at Villa Romana Trattoria.
A three-course meal with a chicken entree will be served. The
event will begin at 7 p.m. today. Villa Romana is at 303 Broadway.

Business club hosts clinical psychologist
The Laguna Beach Business Club will host M. K. Gustinella, a
Laguna Beach clinical psychologist, to discuss how to keep an element
of “heart and soul” in business.
Her remarks will touch on the challenges and defeats that are
common in dealing with customers and efforts to meet personal
expectations, and how to improve the conflict resolution process.
The business chat will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the Citizens
