Red Chair Lounge Red Nights, which will include live entertainment
and the art of Cliff Wassmann, will take place at the Hyatt Regency

A 100-year History of Huntington Beach, an exhibit that includes
photographs, artifacts and documents reflecting the growth of
Huntington Beach in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the

The “Ultimate Laff-Down” Quarter Finals comedy competition will be

Adventure Playground, a playing experience for children, will be
open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Central
Park, 7111 Talbert Ave. Children can raft on a small pond, navigate a
rope bridge, use a cable slide, go down a mud slide and build forts.
Children must wear tennis shoes and be prepared to get dirty. This
experience is suitable for kids six to twelve years old. Adult
supervision will be provided and tickets are $2 to 3. Enter from the

SUNDAY
The Fourth of July Parade, the largest Independence Day parade
west of the Mississippi River, will feature more than 300 entries
including bands, floats, film and television celebrities, local
dignitaries, equestrians and community groups. The parade, from 10
a.m. to 12:30 p.m., heads south to Main Street, proceeds up Main
Street through the Downtown, ending at Main Street. Parking is
available at the Main Street Parking Structure at Lake Street.

“Pride and Prejudice” will be performed at Golden West College.
Jane Austen’s story is described by the college as a fast-paced
romantic comedy. The show will run through July 18. The 8 p.m. show

The Huntington Beach Pro/Junior Surf Series will be a United
States Surfing Federation sanctioned competition. The time of the
