Noteworthy: Three of Wilkerson’s four hole-in-ones have come at

Newport Beach CC, two on the par-3 17th. She used a 7-wood on the

water-laced 17th in April for her most recent ace, playing with Joan

Furry, Sheila Seberg and Terri Berreman. Wilkerson, a member at the

club for 17 years, won the first flight of the women’s club

championship, edging Linda Maggard by five strokes.
