-- Jeffrey Moore, who chased down teenage bike thieves last

between now and tomorrow and to get a feel of what the assembly is

-- Gary Monahan, Costa Mesa mayor, on the deal struck between

is expected to save cities in the long run. Costa Mesa and Newport
Beach both stand to lose about $2 million for the next two years.
“From a business perspective it’s good news. On the one hand we

we’re very interested in making sure that noise levels are
maintained.”
-- Richard Luehrs, president of the Newport Beach Chamber of
Commerce, on new gates at John Wayne Airport.
