* Arroyo Chico: A woman reported her purse was stolen out of her
house in the 400 block at 9:03 p.m.
* South Coast Highway and Cleo Street: The driver of a gray Volvo
was reportedly weaving in and out of lanes and throwing trash out the
window at 3:33 p.m.
SUNDAY
* Divers Cove: A man was rescued from the rocks in the 600 block
at 4:10 p.m.
* Duarte Avenue: A man reported his porch light was shot out while
he was away from his home in the 2500 block at 3:25 p.m.
* Emerald Bay and North Coast Highway: A Laguna Niguel man was
arrested on suspicion of making terrorist threats after police
responded to a report that he was hitting a window and trying to
break it at 12:29 a.m.
* Forest Avenue: Grand theft was reported in the 200 block at
11:56 a.m.
* Miramar Street and Cortez Avenue: Three juveniles were
reportedly shooting air guns at a paper target at 2:40 p.m.
* Park Avenue: A boy driving a BMW reportedly drove over the curb
and knocked over a light pole in the 2100 block at 4:45 p.m.
* Third Street: Lewd conduct was reported in the 300 block at
11:22 a.m.
SATURDAY
* Alta Laguna Boulevard: A rattlesnake was reported seen in a
sandbox in the 3200 block at 3:24 p.m.
* Balboa Avenue: Four people reportedly threw bottles from a
pickup truck in the 900 block at 10:47 p.m.
* Florence Avenue: A man reported his wife saw someone cut down
one of their trees in the 31600 block at 11:48 a.m.
* Laguna Canyon Road: A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of
driving under the influence after a crash in the 21000 block at 6:56
p.m.
* Lower Cliff Drive: A red 1997 Ford Ranger was reported stolen in
the 100 block at 2:38 p.m.
* Main Beach: A person reportedly tried to break into the historic
white lifeguard tower in the 100 block at 8:52 a.m.
* Oak Street and South Coast Highway: A bicycle rider was arrested
on suspicion of driving under the influence on a bicycle after he was
injured in a collision with a fire hydrant at 2:38 p.m.
FRIDAY
* Bluebird Canyon Drive: A person caring for an elderly individual
reported someone was attempting to use the elderly person’s Social
Security Number fraudulently in the 1300 block at 12:30 p.m.
* Park Avenue: A man reported patio furniture valued at $1,800 was
reported stolen in the 200 block at 10:54 a.m.
* Victory Walk: A man requested extra police patrols after he put
up a fence that his neighbor did not like in the 1200 block at 8:05
p.m.
