Sharp Shooters win Smythe crown

The Sharp Shooters were on target in their Smythe Division
championship match against the Renegades.
Four players reached the scoring column, led by Justin Williams’
five goals, in a 9-1 victory at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in
Huntington Beach.
Jeremy McHenry posted two goals and Cheyne Taylor and Gregory
Tankarian both scored once. Taylor also assisted two goals.
Corey Jones only yielded a third period goal to Harry Ellis, who
scored off a double feed by Neal Macpherson and Scott Parkin.
Jones finished with 14 saves.

Norris Division
Terminators 3, Hot Shots 2
The Terminators scored three goals in the second period, then held
off a late charge by the Hot Shots.
Terminator goals were scored by Kyle Finney and Slater Ott.
Ott and Cole Redl each had an assist.
Austin Shannon recorded 23 saves.
The Hot Shots had goals scored by Karley Wester and Jack Bennett,
and Ashley Woody had an assist.
William Baltazar had 24 saves.
Chaos 8, Blades 5
Scott Cassidy and Brandon Drochner each scored two goals to pace
Chaos.
Single goals were scored by Steve Tomasek, Garrett Blackwell,
Dimitri Coutsoyannopolis and Andrew Paskil.
Cassidy also had three assists and Ryan Kalama had two assists.
Brandon Kinney had 16 saves.
The Blades’ scoring was spread out among Jordan Bennett, Cameron
Berkenkamp, Nicole Scott, Michael Gutierrez and Tanner Privia.
Privia, Berkenkamp and Kyle Betz each had an assist.
Drake Dwyer finished with 13 saves.
