An article in Thursday’s Pilot, “Deadline met, but KOCE deal not
set,” incorrectly stated which group had missed two deadlines to
agree to terms on the sale of the station. The KOCE-TV Foundation
missed the deadlines.
An article in Thursday’s Pilot, “City will look into stabilizing
canyon,” incorrectly reported the scope of the city’s contract with
RLF Engineering to study erosion at Morning Canyon. The City Council
approved only the first phase of the work to evaluate soil and gather
other data. That work will cost about $100,000. The council also
voted to look into the city’s legal liability to correct erosion in
the canyon.
In Wednesday’s Pilot, a story, “Crystal Cove a favored state
park,” misstated when the first phase of the restoration process at
the park would start. The restoration started Monday.
