Newport Harbor High senior Kid Lim finished second in the 119-pound

class Saturday at the Sea View League wrestling finals to advance to

the CIF Southern Section Coastal Division championships, beginning

Feb. 20 at Westminster High.

Lim (22-7) was pinned by Sonny Siegal from Laguna Hills in the

title match at Laguna Hills High.

Newport Harbor freshman Jessee Marshall (145), as well as Sailor

junior Mike Ortiz (189) both finished fourth to earn alternate status

for the CIF finals.

Marshall lost, 10-2, in the third-place match, while Ortiz dropped

an 11-4 decision in his third-place match.

The Sailors finished last in the team standings.

Laguna Hills earned the Sea View team championship.
