The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day
at elementary schools. The selection may include a salad, a sandwich
or a hot entree. School lunches cost $2 each.
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt; or bean and
cheese burrito; corn on the cob; raisins; chocolate animal crackers;
and a choice of milk.
WEDNESDAY
Vegetarian health sandwich; or Galaxy cheese pizza; broccoli
flowerettes with ranch dip; apricot halves; Pretzel Goldfish; and a
choice of milk.
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad; or turkey and gravy and mashed potatoes;
freshly baked whole-grain roll; diced peaches; and a choice of milk.
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad*; or chicken tenders; crisp green salad with
ranch dressing; frozen 100% fruit juice bar; and a choice of milk.
The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,
crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit
yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts (*peanut butter on selected days).
Papa John’s Pizza is served one day a week with vegetable, fruit
and milk at each school in place of the regular menu.
MONDAY
College Park, Davis, Harbor View, Kaiser and Newport Elementary.
TUESDAY
Andersen, California, Eastbluff, Rea and Sonora.
WEDNESDAY
Mariner’s, Victoria and Wilson.
THURSDAY
Adams, Killybrooke, Newport Coast, Newport Heights and Pomona.
FRIDAY
Lincoln, Paularino, Whittier and Woodland.
