* Cypress Drive and Linden Street: An Acura Integra reportedly
rolled down a hill and collided with a Toyota Tacoma at 5:31 p.m.
* Nestall Road: A resident reported someone had bent his screen
door, and that he suspected an attempted break-in in the 3000 block
at 9:08 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: Computer equipment was reported stolen
overnight in the 32300 block at 1:58 p.m.
* Zell Drive: Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the
2900 block at 4:14 p.m.
MONDAY
* Lagunita Drive: A woman reported that the gas tank to her
Mercedes had been tampered with in the 10 block at 2:09 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: An argument involving three surfers was
reported in the 31900 block at 10:01 a.m.
* South Coast Highway and McAulay Place: A woman was arrested on
suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug
paraphernalia at 9:02 a.m.
* Viejo Street: A dog was reportedly barking nonstop in the 200
block at 11:44 a.m.
SUNDAY
* El Camino del Mar: A Dodge Ram was reported stolen in the 400
block at 3:07 p.m.
* Forest Avenue: A man reported finding a dead body off of South
Coast Highway at the police station in the 500 block at 7:40 a.m. An
investigation of the area between Cleo and Cress streets revealed he
had only seen a pile of broken clay pots and bricks.
* Hillcrest Drive: A residential burglary was reported in the 800
block at 6:52 p.m.
* North Coast Highway: Two tires on a red Mercedes were reportedly
slashed, as well as four tires on a white Toyota Celica in the 600
block at 10:02 a.m.
* North Coast Highway: Two kids were reportedly throwing rocks at
cars in the 500 block at 5:16 p.m.
* Park Avenue: A group was reportedly playing roller hockey at the
high school in the 600 block at 8:07 p.m.
* Sommet du Monde: A trespasser using vulgar language was reported
in the 28900 block at 2:46 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: A woman was reportedly throwing objects in
the 500 block at 2:27 a.m.
* South Coast Highway: A driver reported a beer bottle was thrown
at his car as he was driving near a trailer park the previous night
in the 8800 block at 4:18 p.m.
SATURDAY
* Forest Avenue: A person reported that their friend was the
victim of a hit-and-run collision in the 300 block at 10:04 p.m. When
confronted by the victim, the suspect reportedly said he did not care
about the crash.
