MONDAY
* Catalina Avenue: Police left a notice at a residence after
receiving a report that two dogs at the location had been barking for
three hours in the 31500 block at 12:34 p.m.
* Cedar Way: A male prowler wearing a dark blue jacket, jeans and
tennis shoes was reported in the 400 block at 8:31 p.m.
* Cerritos Drive and Temple Hills Drive: A person called police to
report that their mother saw a stray animal described as a tiger the
size of a Labrador retriever at 3:20 p.m.
* Grandview Street: A resident reported a Shi-Tzu puppy was left
on their doorstep in the 200 block at 3:11 p.m. The dog was in a
carrier and had food.
* Irvine Cove Beach: A new leaf blower valued at $500 was reported
stolen in the 100 block at 8:23 a.m.
* North Coast Highway: Police received a report that keyholes had
been glued to prevent them from being locked in the 600 block at
10:31 p.m.
SUNDAY
* Cliff Drive: A person reported a ferret was in the 600 block at
10:57 a.m.
* Keller Way: A woman was arrested on suspicion of violating leash
laws in the 1000 block at 10:19 a.m.
* Main Beach: A transient was arrested on suspicion of being drunk
in public after reportedly harassing people near the volleyball
courts while carrying a bottle of tequila in the 100 block at 4:28
p.m.
* Temple Hills Drive: A resident reported their mailbox had been
knocked down over the night in the 1000 block at 10:09 a.m.
SATURDAY
* Brooks Street: A black Nissan X-Terra was reported stolen in the
200 block at 7:03 p.m.
* Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Niguel resident was arrested on
suspicion of receiving stolen property, driving without a license and
possession of marijuana in the 20400 block at 7:21 p.m.
* Mountain Road: A property manager reported a person was trying
to break in to a vacant residence in the 100 block at 12:14 p.m.
* Rockpile Beach: A Navy flare was found in the 300 block at 7:48
a.m.
* South Coast Highway and Nyes Place: A Santa Ana resident was
arrested on warrants for drunk driving and selling narcotics after a
traffic stop at 8:39 a.m.
FRIDAY
* Chillon Way: A tree was reported blocking traffic after a man
cutting down the tree broke his saw in the 2800 block at 7:45 a.m.
* Cypress Drive: A landlord reported being notified by tenants
that a renter’s door had been broken down and that there was blood in
the bedroom in the 300 block at 7:09 p.m.
* Temple Hills Drive: A woman reported a hit-and-run driver broke
off the side mirror of her Jeep Cherokee in the 900 block at 7:37
p.m.
