Mr. Claire Brockett, a longtime resident of Newport Beach and

owner of McDonald paint store in Costa Mesa, died on Friday. He was

78.

Mr. Brockett is survived by his wife Rocella Brockett.

Dale Alford Thrasher

Mr. Dale Alford Thrasher, a 42-year resident of Costa Mesa, died

on Dec. 13 of cancer. He was 78.

Mr. Thrasher is survived by his wife Kathryn Elizabeth Thrasher;

sons James and Robert; daughter Mary and three grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Thursday at the Bell Broadway

Mortuary in Costa Mesa.
