Breaker poloists go overtime to down El Dorado

The Laguna Beach High girls’ water polo team was involved in an
overtime thriller Tuesday at El Dorado.
Trailing, 9-6, heading into the fourth quarter, the Breakers
outscored the host Golden Hawks, 4-1, to force overtime, where they
then went on to pick up a 14-13 nonleague victory.
Addison Doud netted a match-best seven goals to lead Laguna.
Previous to defeating El Dorado, Laguna posted a 6-4 win over
Fountain Valley at the Villa Park Tournament.
Doud again led all scorers, this time, with four goals.
McKee scored Laguna’s other two goals.
The Breakers fell to Arlington, 9-8, in another tournament match.
In girls’ soccer, Laguna dropped a 3-0 home match to undefeated
St. Margarets.
