Bury, Jorth selected first-team all-league

Newport Harbor High senior Michael Bury and sophomore Clay Jorth both
earned first-team All-Sea View League honors in boys water polo.
Bury, a U.S. youth national team member who earned All-CIF
Southern Section Division I laurels last year, led the Sailors with
93 goals, while Jorth, a national cadet team member, produced 56
goals.
Senior Morgan Laidlaw, know for his rich work ethic, and junior
goalie Michael Robinson received second-team All-PCL recognition.
Laidlaw scored 13 goals, and Robinson recorded 252 saves (nine per
game).
The quartet helped lead Coach Jason Lynch’s Sailors to a 17-11
record and a CIF Division I quarterfinal appearance.
