Navy Lt. Cmdr. Charles P. Good, son...

Navy Lt. Cmdr. Charles P. Good, son of Carol and Phillip Good of

Huntington Beach, recently returned from the Mediterranean Sea and

Arabian Gulf where he was assigned to a guided missile destroyer.

Good was one of more than 8,000 Atlantic Fleet sailors and Marines

aboard the ships of the U.S. aircraft carrier Nimitz strike group

that participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Good is a 1986 graduate

of Edison High School and joined the Navy in May 1990 ... Huntington

Beach resident and pediatric oncology nurse Joetta Wallace recently

received the Dr. Patricia Greene Excellence in Pediatric Oncology

Nursing Award at an annual meeting in Philadelphia. Wallace received

the honor for inviting nursing educators and advanced practice nurses

from several Southern California institutions to form a consortium to

develop a comprehensive, standardized orientation course for

pediatric hematology and oncology nurses.
